Following on from the huge sell out success of our 2010 calendars, the Raptor & Wildlife Refuge of Tasmania Inc is holding a Capture a Raptor photographic competition for its 2011 calendar.

Winning pics will feature in our 2011 calendars and will help raise awareness of raptors in Tasmania – their beauty and their plight - but your participation in general will also help raise much needed funds for the refuge.

Entries per image cost $10 and entrants may submit up to five images, either as prints or in electronic format*. Entries should be accompanied with your name, postal and email addresses.

A brief description should be provided for each image to include the following:

•  Who took the image
•  Where it was taken
•  What the image shows

Entrants will retain copyright of the images submitted, but in entering the competition grant the Raptor and Wildlife Refuge of Tasmania Inc. the right to publish the photos in their calendar, on the website and in other relevant literature. All photographs will be credited.

*Digital images, saved as individual .jpg, .jpeg or .tif files should be sent low resolution (less than 0.5 MB). We will ask you to send at higher resolution if required.
